 Burning behavior test apparatus is used to determine the combustion severity of the material through deposition of the sample as a strip on non-porous plate and ignition trails are performed with the hot (1000°C) platinum wire which acts as an external source of ignition.

RAPID SCREENING DEVICE (RSD) is a technique which is primarily used for stability investigation of different kinds of chemicals by safety researchers to quantify thermal hazards by the temperature pressure-time and heat of reaction data obtained.
